The HOA President Kept Parking His Boat Across My Driveway—Until the Tow Records Exposed What He Had Been Hiding

Chapter 1: The Boat Was Across My Driveway Again

At 6:12 Saturday morning, I opened my garage and found Gregory Hill’s boat stretched across the mouth of my driveway like somebody had dropped a wall there overnight.

The trailer tongue sat three feet inside my property line. Its hitch pointed toward my garage. Two steel safety chains crossed beneath it, silver against the dark pavement, and the boat itself rose above my shrubs in a polished white curve that caught the first light.

My service truck was trapped behind it.

My phone buzzed in my pocket.

The dispatcher.

I already knew what she was going to say.

“Jonathan, we’ve got a rollover on Route 17. Police are asking for the heavy unit.”

I looked at Gregory’s boat.
