The Neighbor Who Tried to Destroy His Quiet Workshop Livestreamed Her Own Federal Crime

Chapter 1: The Hammer Fell Before Anyone Believed Her

The hammer struck the breaker box hard enough to throw blue-white sparks across Kathleen Wilson’s face.

She flinched, but she did not stop filming.

“I’m shutting down the dangerous AI before it burns our street!” she shouted at the phone clamped upright on a small tripod near Jeffrey Moore’s driveway.

The next blow buckled the steel door.

For half a second, the low hum from Jeffrey’s detached workshop continued as if nothing had happened. Then an electrical crack snapped through the yard. The exterior lights went dark, came back weakly, and began to pulse.

Jeffrey dropped the charging cable he had been coiling beside his PHEV.

“Kathleen. Put the hammer down.”

She turned the phone slightly, making sure both of them were in frame. Her cheeks were red, her hair windblown, her eyes bright with the certainty of someone performing for an audience she could not see.
