He Waited Through Every “Five Minutes” Until the Tow Truck Exposed What Both Neighbors Were Hiding

Chapter 1: The Car Was Already Leaving the Ground

Karen Wilson’s silver sedan was already leaving the ground when she shouted that Andrew Harris had never warned her.

The tow truck’s hydraulic lift groaned beneath the rear axle. One wheel hung inches above the asphalt, turning slowly as if the car itself were reconsidering how it had ended up sideways across Andrew’s driveway.

“You can’t do this,” Karen said, one hand pressed to her phone, the other pointing at Andrew. “Tell him to put it down.”

The tow-truck operator kept working.

Across the street, a neighbor held a phone upright. Another stood at the edge of his lawn with his arms folded. No one spoke loudly enough for Andrew to hear, but he could feel their conclusions forming.

Vindictive.

Petty.

The quiet widower finally lost his temper.
