They Called His Service Dog Filthy Until He Silenced the Tent and Exposed Every Fraudulent Fine

Chapter 1: The Dog They Put Beneath His Name

The projector changed the moment Raymond Mitchell stepped beneath the white tent.

The blue slide advertising the annual budget meeting vanished. In its place appeared a photograph of Raymond walking beside his service dog near the community pond. Above the image, in block red letters, were the words:

EMERGENCY ENFORCEMENT ACTION.

The dog paused at Raymond’s left knee.

Raymond felt the animal register the change in his stride before he did. A brief tightening of the leash. A shift of warm weight against his leg. Not fear. Attention.

At the far end of the tent, George Hall stood behind a long table on a raised wooden dais. He watched Raymond see the screen.

Then he smiled.

“Mr. Mitchell,” George said into the microphone, his voice rolling through two black speaker towers. “Your assigned seating is in the rear section.”
