They Used His Farm Lane for Event Parking Until One Old Boundary Post Changed Everything

Chapter 1: The Wedding Cars Filled the Only Farm Lane

Raymond Hall came around the bend with four tons of hay behind him and found fourteen cars parked where the wagon had to turn.

He took his foot off the accelerator.

The tractor settled into a low diesel thrum, the loaded wagon creaking behind it. Ahead, polished SUVs and sedans stood in two loose rows across the gravel turnaround beside his machine shed. Men in jackets and women carrying small purses were walking toward Edward Baker’s event barn fifty yards away, where music drifted through the open doors.

For a moment Raymond simply stared.

A young parking attendant in a reflective vest stepped into the lane and lifted one hand as if Raymond were another arriving guest.

“Sir, you’ll need to hold up.”

Raymond looked past him at the wagon.

“Need to put that hay under roof.”
