The Neighbor Who Called His Solar Batteries Bombs Livestreamed Her Own Federal Sabotage Case

Chapter 1: The Woman Filming Beyond the Garage Door

Raymond Carter heard Sharon Wright tell the internet that his garage could take out three houses before he saw her standing at the edge of his driveway.

He was halfway beneath the open hood of the wall-mounted charging unit, one hand holding a meter probe against a terminal, when her voice carried over the quiet hum of the cooling fans.

“Look at those batteries,” she said. “One spark, and this whole end of the street is gone.”

Raymond withdrew the probe and turned.

Sharon stood inches from the property seam with her phone held vertically at eye level. She had positioned herself so Raymond’s open garage filled the screen behind her: the custom PHEV charger on the left wall, the dark battery cabinets along the rear, the organized workbench, and the small green sensor pulsing above the garage door.

The light blinked once.

Sharon flinched theatrically.

“There,” she whispered to her viewers. “It just fired again.”
